Join Sydney’s favourite outdoor Latin dance event, bringing together the city’s best Latin dance schools, top DJs, live music, and an incredible community!
Every Friday night, Palm Grove will become the destination for Sydney's Latin Dance lovers to unite and dance the night away as the sun goes down.
Free for everyone to enjoy, the DJ will spin those Latin beats to get everyone moving, from salsa, bachata to mambo and every style in between. Live music and bands will bring the energy each week.
Every week is fresh, exciting, and unique! Expect new performers, different dance schools, and a brand new atmosphere every time. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a seasoned dancer, a student, or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time. The focus is social fun, no heels or sequins required!
What to expect:
6pm — Dance lesson
Kick off the night with a complimentary lesson led by one of Sydney's top Latin dance schools. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to brush up on their moves.
7pm — Performances & DJs
Watch some of Sydney's finest Latin dancers in action, before the DJs turn up the tempo with salsa, bachata and more.
7:45pm onwards — Live music & social dancing
Grab a drink, find your rhythm and dance the night away to live Latin music and Sydney's best Latin DJs.

Feature Nights
Opening Fiesta, Friday 2 October
Kick off Latin Nights by the Bay with a fiesta celebrating three distinct styles of salsa — from its Afro-Cuban roots to the smooth moves of New York Mambo and the fast-paced energy of Cali Colombian Salsa.
Start the night with a complimentary salsa lesson from Go Dance Sydney, then hit the dance floor as DJ Rafael Rojas gets things moving.
At 7:30pm, catch a special showcase from Fraudy/Havana Dance Academy, Dance Mambo and Sydney Latin Flow, bringing three styles of salsa to life through a series of show-stopping performances.
Then it's back to the dance floor, with Richard Valdez and his five-piece band bringing the live Latin beats, alongside DJ Rafael Rojas throughout the evening.

Christmas Fiesta, Friday 4 December
Kick things off with a complimentary beginner-friendly salsa lesson from Go Dance Sydney, before DJ Rafael Rojas and Gonzalo Porta’s Full Band take over from 7pm, bringing the Latin rhythms and keeping the dance floor moving all night.
There’ll also be a Christmas Salsa-Off and Salsa-ing Santa mini competition for those ready to show off their moves — festive spirit encouraged.
Come dressed in your favourite Christmas colours, grab your dancing shoes and round out the season with music, movement and plenty of Latin energy by the harbour. ¡Feliz Navidad!
