Join Sydney’s favourite outdoor Latin dance event, bringing together the city’s best Latin dance schools, top DJs, live music, and an incredible community!
Every Friday night, Palm Grove will become the destination for Sydney's Latin Dance lovers to unite and dance the night away as the sun goes down.
Free for everyone to enjoy, the DJ will spin those Latin beats to get everyone moving, from salsa, bachata to mambo and every style in between. Live music and bands will bring the energy each week.
Every week is fresh, exciting, and unique! Expect new performers, different dance schools, and a brand new atmosphere every time. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a seasoned dancer, a student, or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time. The focus is social fun, no heels or sequins required!
What to expect:
- 6pm – Arrive early, check in, and soak in the vibes
- 6.15pm – Complimentary dance lesson with some of Sydney’s top Latin dance school
- 7pm – Spectacular performances from some of Sydney’s finest dancers
- 8pm - Social dancing kicks off with Sydney’s best Latin DJs spinning Salsa, Bachata, and more
- 8pm - 10pm – Live music and dancing
Whether it be date night or catchups with friends, Darling Harbour provides all the ingredients for a great night out. Grab a drink, an early dinner then burn up the dance floor starting with a guided lesson from one of Sydney’s top social Latin dance schools, plus some free time to feel the beat and practice your new skills.

Each week, you'll be guided by one of Sydney's top Latin Dance schools including: Latin Dance Australia, Go Dance Sydney, Salsa Suave, Tropical Soul, Feel Free Dance Bondi, Urban Salsa, Manly Salsa and Buena Vista Dance.

To celebrate the final night of a fabulous season of Latin Nights by the Bay, we’re turning up the heat with a Best on the Floor competition.
How it works
- Anyone on the dance floor can be chosen
- Winners are judged on enthusiasm, connection with the crowd and Latin spirit
- Technical dance skills aren’t needed, it’s all about how you light up the floor
Prizes
- 1st Place: $300 Darling Quarter voucher (2 × $150)
