HARBOURSIDE REDEVELOPMENT
The new Harbourside will reimagine the Darling Harbour waterfront for the 21st century, reconnect with the people and places of Pyrmont.
It will create a network of new public spaces that seamlessly brings together residents, workers, tourists, and locals, resulting in a thriving mixed-use precinct.
The demolition is expected to take approximately 7 months, with full project completion expected in 2027.

PYRMONT BRIDGE IS UNDER RESTORATION
Pyrmont Bridge is the world’s oldest opening bridge that is still operated by its original electric motor. The largely timber construction was completed in 1902 and has faithfully served Sydney ever since. Currently maintenance works are underway to ensure this significant heritage-listed bridge will continue to function for at least another 120 years.
This means improved bridge safety, greater pedestrian access during major events and more reliable escalators.
