Free entry

Every Thursday to Sunday over two jam packed weeks, you can see Tumbalong Park come alive with DJs and bands playing free live music, foodie markets, outdoor bar, firepits and igloos. You can then finish your night with a bang by Cockle Bay with fireworks. It will be one of the best things to do in Sydney to warm up this winter!

5pm - 9pm Thursdays & Fridays
12 noon - 10pm Saturdays
12 noon - 8pm Sundays

The Winter Festival is Proudly funded by the NSW Government.

A line-up of Aussie musical talent will be hitting the stage in Tumbalong Park to heat up this winter.

Catch sets from the likes of bonafide party starters Furnace & The Fundamentals, a new act born from one of Australia’s former leading dance bands, Martini Club; Bermuda Social Club; one of Australia’s most entertaining acts, Hot Potato Band; and pop and retro-rock Soul Movers, led by frontwoman Lizzie Mack together with the legendary OG-Red-Wiggle, Murray Cook. More acts to heat up the chilly winter nights include La Fiesta Sound System, Sir Archer, Soul of Sydney, and Baker Boys Band, along with DJs Beth Yen and Lauren Neko.

Winter Warmer Foodie Market

Tumbalong Park will be transformed into a winter warmer foodie market, offering up a hot pot of food and drinks pop-ups to warm your bellies.

There'll be many stalls and food trucks serving up some awesome bites from the likes of Burgerhead, Firepop, Gelatissimo, Urban Gypsy Cafe, Toastiesmith, Bubble Nini, Okonomiyaki, The Fudge Shop, Wafflo, and more!

Warm up with mulled wine and craft beers from one of the pop-up bars in the park and dance the day away to the live music pumping from the Tumbalong Park stage.

Chill out (or warm up) in the winter themed Pop-up Igloos

Each Igloo is styled, taking inspiration from iconic international ski fields – Whistler, Canada; Niseko, Japan; Cardrona, New Zealand; Courchevel, France; and Aspen, USA. The igloos can be booked for up to 6 people for $65 per hour, which includes a round of drinks such as mulled wine and Bailey’s hot chocolate. Additional drinks will be available to purchase by the igloos for those who’d like to try a wide selection of other drinks.
