Darling Harbour Ice Rink

Whether you're a seasoned skater or a total newbie, the open-air ice skating rink at Palm Grove is the perfect winter escape.

Winter School Holidays

Looking for ideas to entertain the little ones these school holidays? Fear not, Darling Harbour has you covered with everything from kung-fu to bungy-jumping, family-friendly feasts to new ice cream discoveries.


 

Arctic Activity Zone

Get on down to Cockle Bay these school holidays and discover the ultimate winter-themed experience. Get messy and creative in a series of craft workshops, take part in the scavenger hunt or boogie away in the dance den. 

Celebrate NAIDOC Week

To celebrate, NAIDOC Week, Darling Harbour will be putting on a special NAIDOC-themed fireworks, a traditional Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, FREE open day at the Australian National Maritime Mueseum. Come together and immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

World Cup Live Site at Tumbalong Park

If you’re looking for somewhere to soak up the World Cup buzz, Tumbalong Park is the place to be. Grab your crew, roll in early, and catch the world’s best teams lighting up the big screens as they battle it out for football glory. This free public event is screening all the key Socceroo matches, plus the quarter finals right through to the big one.

 

Top Gun Maverick: in Concert

Experience the Academy Award® winning blockbuster on the big screen, with Lorne Balfe, Harold Faltermeyer, Lady Gaga and Hans Zimmer’s epic score performed live-to-picture by a full symphony orchestra.

Enjoy NAIDOC Week themed fireworks on Saturday 4 July complete with a Welcome to Country and set to a deadly soundtrack. 

Free Open Day at the Maritime Museum

Celebrate NAIDOC Week at the museum with FREE entry for all, featuring vibrant cultural activities, live performances, art-making, tours, workshops, and storytelling to mark 50 Years of ‘Deadly’.
