Fratelli Fresh Italian restaurant Darling Harbour

Italian culture is all about family. Each day, the Italian family gather around the table over good food, a little wine and a lot of laughter. Fratelli Fresh Italian restaurant in Darling Harbour aims to bring the gioie della tavola (the joys of the family table) to you right here in Sydney.

Visit and you’ll discover all the favourites from the traditional Italian home kitchen, served by talented chefs and mixologists at dedicated stations and bars. That includes desserts like panna cotta and tiramisu, pizza, pasta, antipasti platters and, of course, wine and cocktails.

Welcome to Darling Harbour’s favourite Italian restaurant

You’ll find Fratelli Fresh occupying a large, light-filled space near the Chinese Garden of Friendship in the heart of Darling Harbour. There are so many incredible Italian restaurants in Sydney but Fratelli Fresh remains among the most popular and well-loved. One reason for that could be the restaurant’s unique ‘emporium’ concept.

Within the restaurant, there are several different zones for coffee, antipasti, pasta, pizza and gelato. Each zone is home to chefs who specialise in certain dishes, offering diners more choice but with the same authentic flavours other Fratelli Fresh Italian restaurants are known for.

The menu here is guaranteed to make you drool with small plates (designed to share), pasta, antipasti, insalata and authentic Napoli pizza. Favourites include the salty and moreish prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella, basil and rosemary focaccia. The lemon linguine with chilli lemon and breadcrumbs is simple but to die for, while the entire pizza menu is predictably delicious - two days of fermenting for its tangy sourdough base, then a quick flash in the blazing hot wood oven to crisp everything up. Proof that patience in pizza is a virtue.

If you’ve got room, grab a coffee made from specialty roasted beans, or a creamy gelato made the traditional Italian way (go for pistachio or lemon flavours and thank us later).

Kids dine free at Sydney’s best Italian restaurant

Eating at Fratelli Fresh is hands down one of the best things to do with kids in Sydney. Why? Because little ones under 12 eat for free off the kids menu every day when dining with an adult who orders a main.

They’ll get a choice of pizzas, salads, spaghetti dishes, chicken nuggets with fries and at the end of the meal, you won’t see a thing on the bill. How good is that?

Kids don’t have all the fun at Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour either - the restaurant is home to one of Sydney’s best bar happy hours from 4pm-6pm on weekdays. Come during those magic hours and you’ll get Aperol spritz, espresso martinis and negronis for just $8, ridiculously cheap craft beers and house wines and antipasti for just $5 each. See you there!
