The Lost Backpackers and Irish Family Show (Great Southern Nights)
As new parents, the backpackers have now joined the plight of finding some fun, family friendly events at the weekend so here we go - no need for a babysitter just bring the craic. Guests are invited to Darling Quarter Theatre, Darling Harbour on May 17th, 3pm, in association with Great Southern Nights for a family day out including the usual Lost Backpacker set along with Irish dancers, roving performers and more.
This is going to be an unreal day, full of Irish music, sing alongs and dancing, a chance to have the craic, listen to some music, connect with other Irish family’s and of course let the kids enjoy a bit of Irish music

- Pram parking, quiet areas and baby change areas available.
- Packed food and snacks can be bought along.

- Venue lights will be dimmed.
- Volume is set at a safe level for children. Recommended use of earmuffs if you have any concerns.
- Parents remain responsible for their children at all times, no children up on stage unless asked.

The Lost Backpackers are a multi talented, energetic duo from Co. Cork, Ireland. Consisting of Aisling on lead vocals, tin-whistle and fiddle and Dave on guitar, vocals and percussion. They have taken the Australian Irish music scene by storm over the past number of years with their distinctive take on well known songs with an Irish twist and in turn creating their own unique sound that makes every Lost Backpacker show a whirlwind from start to finish, with heart wrenching ballads to toe tapping rambunctiousness and some cheeky 90s rave numbers - it has it all!
