SAMMY OBEID

Darling Quarter Theatre welcomes Sammy Obeid, the Lebanese-Palestinian American comedian who turned down a job at Google to pursue stand-up and went on to become one of comedy's most distinctive voices.

Born in Oakland, California, Obeid is the host of Netflix's 100 Humans and has appeared on Last Comic Standing, America's Got Talent and Conan. He's also known for his world record of performing stand-up comedy 1,001 nights in a row, a feat featured in Time and The New York Times.

With a double degree in Business and Mathematics from UC Berkeley, Obeid brings a sharp, intelligent take on everyday life, culture and human behaviour, making him a standout for comedy fans seeking a great night out in Darling Harbour.
