Powerhouse Late: Film
Join us for Powerhouse Late: Film, a night all about short films presented in partnership with local industry networking group Emerge Film Networking.
Local filmmakers and film lovers are invited for an immersive night of art and short films. The night celebrates putting the smallest stories on the biggest screens with screenings of legendary contemporary shorts, a panel about the art of short film and Q&A session as well as networking with emerging filmmakers.
The evening will feature a program of AFTRS 50th Anniversary restored short films from their esteemed alumni. The selection includes works from the class of 1973 – Gillian Armstrong, Phillip Noyce and Chris Noonan – alongside impressive first forays into the medium by Ivan Sen, Jane Campion, Cate Shortland, Robert Connolly, Sue Brooks and Catriona McKenzie.
