Powerhouse Ultimo is a contemporary museum in the heart of Sydney with a focus on arts, science, innovation and design.

The Powerhouse Museum boasts a collection of more than 380,000 objects. See an extraordinary array of treasures from the fields of science, technology, industry, design, decorative arts and history.

Exhibitions and programs are based on the ideas and technologies that have changed our world, and the stories of the people who have created and inspired them. An ever-changing program of temporary displays complements a range of permanent exhibitions, while education and public programs, new technologies and creative interactions bring the collection to life.

There are regular tours and demonstrations, performances, workshops, forums and other special events held throughout the museum, plus two cafes, and a state-of-the-art playground in the museum's courtyard.
