Welcome the Year of the Snake and join in on the Lunar New Year festivities that will bring good fortune and joy at Darling Square!

Watch the hundreds of traditional lanterns light up every night from Wed 22 Jan to Sun 16 Feb 2025. Meet and take a snap with a real snake - yes you read that right! Be immersed in the festive atmosphere and enjoy the live cultural entertainment including a Chinese face changing performance and traditional fan veil dancers. 

Grab a free Chinese calligraphy fan as a New Year gift and indulge in a delicious feast at over 50 restaurants that will satisfy all your taste buds!

Illuminated Lantern Installation

Stroll through a stunning illuminated lantern tunnel, symbolising good fortune, prosperity, and joy. Hundreds of glowing lanterns will light up Darling Square every evening, creating a magical and festive atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends.

LED Lion Dancing
Experience the excitement of traditional lion dancing with a modern twist. Watch the dazzling LED lion dancers light up the night at Darling Square.

Sit back, relax and enjoy live vocal performances by talented artists while you dine at Darling Square.

Chinese Calligraphy

Lunar Toy Pony Ride

Bring the kids and watch them gallop into the new year with a free toy pony ride when you spend at Darling Square. Spend at any Darling Square retailer, show the receipt to the staff and enjoy a free pony ride.  Located between The Exchange and Pumphouse.
