Viral $10 Dessert Sandos

Already a favourite with Aussie foodies, Japanese sandos have been popping up across social feeds thanks to their soft, fluffy bread, indulgent fillings and very photogenic layers. Now, Harajuku Gyoza’s Fried Dessert Sandos are giving the trend a crispy, golden twist.

Made with fluffy Japanese shokupan bread, each sando is lightly fried until golden and crisp, then filled with seriously indulgent flavours.

There are three to choose from, including the Strawberry Sando, a long-time favourite, plus two flavours bringing something new to the dessert table: Golden Crème Brûlée and Dubai Pistachio.

The Golden Crème Brûlée comes topped with a crackable layer of caramelised sugar, while the Dubai Pistachio takes inspiration from one of the biggest dessert trends of recent years, pairing rich pistachio filling with crispy, golden fried shokupan.

At just $10 each, they’re the kind of dessert that makes it very easy to say, “Okay, one more.”
