Head to Café del Mar for A Love Affair this Valentine’s Day, 14 February. Indulge in a romantic four-course lunch or dinner for $159 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for $59 per person.

With Live music by Raw Ordio from 5pm.

To Start

  • Mushroom Croquette:Wild mushrooms, crisp crumb, truffle aioli
  • Fried Zucchini Flower:Goat’s cheese, pecorino, lemon white balsamic glaze
  • Wine Pairing:Sparkling wine – fine bead, dry and aromatic with notes of fennel, green apple and citrus peel


Entrée

  • To Share Atlantic Salmon Tartare: Cucumber, caper, eschalot, spiced lemon dressing, salmon roe, micro herbs Served with gluten-free crackers
  • Wine Pairing:Textural white wine – mineral-driven with bright acidity and subtle herb notes


First Main 

  • To Share Whole Flounder: Lemon caper butter, charred lemon, dill
  • Wine Pairing:Elegant white wine – restrained oak or unoaked with citrus, fennel and coastal salinity

Second Main

  • To Share Smoked Coffee Duck Breast: Figs, blood plum, sherry glaze
  • Wine Pairing:Fresh Pinot Noir – red cherry, gentle spice, soft tannins and light earthiness
  • Side: Heirloom Tomato Salad Fresh herbs, extra virgin olive oil


Dessert

  • Golden Moon: A hand-painted moon of house-made dark chocolate, filled with chocolate sponge and raspberry compote, nestled in a bed of chocolate and hazelnut soil, melted at your table with warm Chambord anglaise (v/n)
