Map, showing St Dreux

A breakfast takeaway spot that serves some of the best coffee in Sydney.

What do you get when you combine the experience and passion of two coffee industry veterans? One of the best coffees in Sydney.

St Dreux is a roastery, wholesaler and cafe chain that takes coffee seriously. Behind their inch-perfect flat whites, there’s a community of growers, baristas and cafe owners all of whom share the same passion for good coffee.

They have locations all over Sydney and Brisbane but our favourite is their little Darling Quarter espresso bar - which we’d argue is one of the best spots for a quick breakfast in Darling Harbour and Sydney.

Introducing St Dreux Darling Square

When you see light orange takeaway cups and blue bags with pink labels - you know you’re at St Dreux and you’re about to have an amazing coffee with a delicious bite to boot. This little cafe looks as good as its coffee tastes, with copper coloured detailing, marble bench tops and an uber-cool gold and black La Marzocco coffee machine.

Their flat whites are flawless but next time you visit we’d recommend branching out and trying their equally delicious pour-over or chemex blends - known for their more delicate and fruity flavours.

While you’re here make sure you check out their cabinet food, baked fresh every day. There are usually crisp, buttery croissants, cinnamon buns, super moist banana bread and an assortment of cakes, mueslis and sandwiches to try.

Finding St Dreux

If you’re looking for a quick bite and a phenomenal cup of coffee, St Dreux is one of Sydney’s best breakfast restaurants.

You’ll find the cafe on Harbour Street in Darling Quarter, located just minutes from the city and the harbourfront. Its easily accessible by public transport, with plenty of parking nearby - perfect for a long relaxed morning or quick pre-work caffeine fix.
