This festive season, Darling Square, in partnership with Warner Bros, will be celebrating the sweetest movie release of the season Wonka.
Based on the extraordinary character at the centre of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wonka is the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
Wonka will come to life in Darling Square with a Christmas tree shaped lolly jar, perfect for that magical family photo moment, limited-time retailer specials, face painting, live music, fairy lights, fairy floss trees, a Wonka Bar table, and much more!
Each Friday through to Sunday magical acts from roving entertainers will be bringing Christmas cheer to Darling Square. On Fridays, meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, granting wishes and handing out lollipops, on Saturdays Christmas duo Fairy and Floss, will be handing out free fairy floss, and Sunday’s the big man himself will be handing out free Wonka bars!
From fans of old to those about to enter the magical world of Wonka for the first time, there’s no better place to join in on the fun than Darling Square.
