Thai Grand Festival

The Thai Grand Festival returns to Sydney, with a weekend filled with traditional thai music, dancing, and tasty treats.

Get ready for two days of authentic Thai food, live music, traditional performances, Muay Thai, cooking demonstrations and family-friendly activities at Thai Grand Festival 2026 in Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour.

One of Sydney’s biggest celebrations of Thai culture, this free festival brings the flavours, sounds and traditions of Thailand to the heart of Darling Harbour on 19–20 September 2026, from 10am onwards.

Eat your way through Thailand

Come hungry. The Thai Grand Festival brings authentic Thai street food from four regions of Thailand to Darling Harbour, with bustling food and market stalls serving up traditional dishes, desserts and locally made Thai products.

Expect Thai favourites including Pad Thai and Khao Soi — a rich, creamy coconut curry noodle soup — alongside plenty of sweet treats.

Save room for coconut pandan ice cream or Khao Niew Mamuang, Thailand’s iconic sticky mango rice served with sweet condensed milk.

Whether you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Sydney, planning a weekend food adventure or simply want to try something new, this is one festival worth arriving hungry for.
