Celebrate Christmas in Sydney at Darling Harbour with Our Community Christmas, a joyful morning of live entertainment showcasing the people, cultures and creativity of our city.

Enjoy live music, choirs, dance and festive favourites performed by community groups and artists of all ages and abilities. From Christmas carols and traditional Chinese music to opera, tap, contemporary jazz and street dance, there’s something different to discover with every performance.

The program brings together an incredible mix of Sydney talent, from Sydney Street Choir and With One Voice Sydney to young guitarist Guitar Hazzy, opera singer Donna Cain, a teenage Christmas brass band and more.

Sing along to much-loved Christmas favourites, discover talented local performers and soak up the feel-good festive atmosphere, before Sydney Street Choir and With One Voice Sydney come together for a special finale.

Performers

Karen Sui
Karen Siu is a professional street dance performer, MC and producer. Having studied and performed internationally, Karen specialises in Dancehall, Waacking and Hip-hop. Her dynamic approach to performance is grounded in her belief in the importance of dancing from the heart and soul, bringing energy, expression and authenticity to every performance.
Studio ARTES
Studio ARTES is a registered NDIS provider supporting adults with disabilities to explore their creativity through visual arts, performing arts and life skills programs. Its Ensemble is a dedicated dance collective that develops skills across a range of dance styles, creating dynamic choreography and exciting opportunities for performers to showcase their talents to the wider community.
Xmas Brass
Xmas Brass is a trio of brass musicians who met and became friends while studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The group performs every year, playing at local shopping centres and various community events. They enjoy seeing the joy playing their music gives the community and love the simplicity and accessibility of Christmas music.
Sydney Street Choir
Sydney Street Choir is a supportive musical community empowering people who have experienced hardship or disadvantage through the power of song. Founded in 2001, the choir performs regularly across Sydney and beyond, bringing people together through music, resilience and connection. This Christmas, catch their uplifting performance live at Darling Harbour.
Donna Cain Yasmin Arkinstall
Sydney opera singers Donna Cain and Yasmin Arkinstall bring their soaring soprano and mezzo-soprano vocals together for a special festive performance. With careers spanning international opera, major Sydney stages, festivals and television, the accomplished duo will fill Darling Harbour with beautiful music and Christmas spirit.
Guitarhazzy
Guitarhazzy is a 12-year-old guitarist bringing rock, blues and original music to Darling Harbour this Christmas. The talented young musician has played with Keith Urban, Paul Kelly, Peach Pit and Damien Leith, while his performances have caught the attention of music legends including Metallica and Brian May.
With One Voice
With One Voice is a national network of inclusive, non-auditioned choirs bringing people together through the joy of song. Welcoming people from all walks of life, the choirs create connection, friendship and a sense of belonging. This Christmas, With One Voice brings its uplifting community spirit to Darling Harbour for a special festive performance.
