This free community event gives the NSW public the opportunity to meet police officers, explore specialist areas of NSW Police, see police vehicles and equipment up close, and more.

Come along to the NSW Police Open Day and discover the people, teams and specialist capabilities that help keep our communities safe.

Whether you're interested in joining NSW Police, want to learn more about the work our officers do, or simply want to meet the people behind the uniform, there's something for everyone.

Throughout the day, visitors can explore a range of interactive displays, demonstrations and activities showcasing the diverse roles and capabilities of NSW Police.

Get up close with specialist teams including:

• Air Wing – discover how police aviation supports operations across NSW.
• Rescue – learn about the specialist skills used in emergency and rescue operations.
• Forensic Services (FETS) – explore the science and technology behind modern policing and forensic investigations.
• Marine Area Command – discover how police operate on Sydney's waterways and across NSW.
• Highway Patrol – meet the officers responsible for keeping our roads safe and learn about road policing.
• Dog Unit – see the incredible work of police dogs and their handlers.
• Mounted Unit – keep an eye out for our mounted police as they move throughout the event.
• Police Vehicle Display – get a close-up look at a selection of police vehicles on display around the venue.

Live on stage: NSW Police Band

Don't miss a special live performance from the NSW Police Band on the main stage.

11am – 12:30pm

With a planned intermission, the performance will showcase the musical talents of the NSW Police Band and provide entertainment for the whole family.
