Sydney's most loved summer cinema experience is back with a new waterfront home at Pyrmont Park
Mov’in Bed Cinema returns for another season of movies under the stars, bringing its signature combination of big-screen entertainment, seriously comfortable beds and food and drinks delivered straight to your spot.
Running Wednesday to Sunday until the end of summer, the outdoor cinema invites movie lovers to swap the couch for a queen or king-size bed complete with pillows and blankets, settle in with noise-cancelling headphones and catch favourite films on a huge 15m 4K screen.
And with its new waterfront location at Pyrmont Bay Park, summer movie nights come with an impressive Sydney backdrop.
A new waterfront home for summer
Make a night of it and arrive early to soak up the summer atmosphere by the water before the film begins. Grab dinner and a drink, watch the sun go down, then get cosy in bed as the screen comes to life.
Whether it’s date night, a catch-up with friends or simply a different way to spend a summer evening in Sydney, Mov’in Bed brings together the comfort of a night at home with all the fun of going out.
Christmas classics to summer blockbusters
The season kicks off in December with a line-up of Christmas favourites including Elf, Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Love Actually, Die Hard and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Once Christmas wraps up, the program shifts into summer mode with a mix of new releases, date-night favourites and cult classics.
Anticipated titles include Avengers: Doomsday, Dune Part Three, The Odyssey, Verity and The Devil Wears Prada 2, alongside favourites including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 10 Things I Hate About You and Dirty Dancing.
So, whether it’s Love Actually with a cocktail in hand, Home Alone under the stars or Dirty Dancing from the comfort of bed, movie night is getting an upgrade this summer.
