Huaxing Arts Group Cultural Performance

Celebrate the elegance, colour and storytelling of Chinese performing arts with a two‑day cultural showcase by the Huaxing Arts Group Australia.
Set within the peaceful surrounds of the Chinese Garden of Friendship, this program brings together traditional dance, opera and Tai Chi in a captivating celebration of heritage and artistry.

Saturday 7 March, 3pm - 3.30pm - Chuyun Performing Rhyme of Maple
A serene and powerful Group Tai Chi demonstration, showcasing balance, flow and mindful movement.


Sunday 8  March, 11am - 11.30am - Ruyan Dance Studio and 56 Flowers Dance Academy
A morning of elegance featuring Tang‑inspired choreography and classic storytelling:

Established on 24 November 2014 and officially registered with the Australian Government, Huaxing Arts Group Australia is a non‑profit organisation dedicated to promoting performing arts by artists of Chinese background.

The organisation encompasses 48 subsidiary arts groups, including:

  • Beijing Opera troupes
  • Music bands
  • Dance schools
  • Choirs
