A must-see, free spectacle set against the iconic backdrop of Cockle Bay.

Experience the magic of Darling Harbour as a dazzling drone show lights up the night sky!

Watch as Darling Harbour is transformed into a canvas of light, celebrating the vibrant energy of spring, for a month-long trial​. Following that, we're excited to share that we're bringing back the sparkle with weekly fireworks.

The 10-minute show will light up the sky every Saturday in September. It's the same vibrant spring-themed display each week, so you can choose the date that's most convenient for you.

We'd love to hear your thoughts as we trial something new. You can share your feedback.

Make a night of it with over 150 places to eat and drink around Darling Harbour. For the best views, head to the bars and restaurants along Cockle Bay Wharf, where you can watch the show with a drink in hand.

Due to increase popularity there are now two drone show at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. They run for 10 minutes each.
You can watch the Darling Harbour drone show from anywhere along the harbour's edge. If you fancy eating or drinking while you enjoy the show, book a table at one of the waterfront restaurants and bars.
Absolutely! Many restaurants and bars around Cockle Bay Wharf and Darling Harbour offer incredible waterfront views. Booking a table is a fantastic way to enjoy a "front row seat" to the show. We strongly recommend making a reservation in advance as these venues will be very popular on show nights.
The Darling Harbour drone show is completely free - no tickets needed! You can watch from many vantage points around Cockle Bay and won't need a ticket to enter.
For the safety of the public and the drones, the show is subject to weather conditions. Please check our Instagram and Facebook stories on the day for all event updates.

Darling Harbour is easily accessible by public transport. 

  • Light Rail: The L1 line stops directly at Convention Centre and Pyrmont Bay. 

  • Train: Town Hall and Central stations are a short 10-15 minute walk away. 

  • Ferry: The F4 ferry from Circular Quay or Barangaroo docks at Pyrmont Bay. 

  • Parking: Secure parking is available at Harbourside, the ICC Sydney and other nearby car parks.
