From literature and storytelling to live music and messages of support, W Sydney is celebrating creative expression, fostering meaningful conversations, and amplifying diverse voices this Mardi Gras. Start the celebrations with Queer Lit, taking over W Sydney's Living Room 'Secret Space' from Monday 24 February - Sunday 2 March.

From Friday 28 February - Sunday 2 March, W Sydney will shine a spotlight on emerging and establsihed LGBTQI+ Djs with live sets across its signature venues - Living Room, 29/30 and WET Deck. 

Between the Covers with Jordan Turner will also take place on Tuesday 25 February, for an intimate evening celebrating queer literature, diverse voices, and the power of storytelling. Hosted by Jordan Turner—digital creator, co-owner of Gertrude & Alice Café Bookstore, and former book club host—this special event brings together influential voices, celebrated authors, and Sydney's creative community for a thought-provoking discussion on identity, love, and resilience.

Jordan will introduce W Sydney's Queer Lit Pop-Up Library and share his inspiration behind the curation before welcoming award-winning journalist and author Shannon Molloy who will be in conversation with Jordan about, and read from, his coming-of-age memoir, Fourteen.
