Koi Lantern Making Workshop
Get ready to light up your imagination and join us for a spectacular lantern-making workshop these school holidays!
Lanterns hold a special place in Chinese culture, symbolising light, joy, and celebration. Join us for a fun and creative school holiday workshop where kids (ages 5–12) and their parents can craft colourful koi fish lanterns using recycled toilet paper rolls! Inspired by the rich history of Chinese lantern-making, this hands-on session blends culture, creativity, and sustainability. Kids will decorate their lanterns with vibrant stickers and markers—perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Come make, learn, and shine together!
Three daily sessions will be held at the Chinese Garden of Friendship on weekdays during the September and October school holidays, excluding the public holiday on 6 October.
