The Moon Festival, also known as Mid-Autumn Festival, is a cherished tradition across Asia. The festival celebrates the Autumn harvest and originates from the ancient Chinese practice of moon worshipping to express gratitude and encourage a fruitful harvest in the coming year. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time to reunite with family and friends, honour the full harvest moon and enjoy mooncakes.
