Children's International Street Library

Calling all bookworms and explorers! Dive into a world of stories at the Children's International Street Library
Nestled under the Pier Street Underpass, this free, family-friendly haven is brimming with books from all corners of the globe.

Dive into a tale and imagine journeying through the jungle with an Indian fable, exploring the outback with a classic Aussie yarn, or rocketing into space with a story from who-knows-where!

The shelves, lovingly crafted by the City North Men's Shed, are bursting with adventures for every curious mind. Donated by the amazing Fort Street Primary School, these books are your gateway to new cultures, languages, and incredible experiences – all without leaving Sydney!

It's the perfect chance to meet your neighbours, swap stories, and celebrate the incredible diversity that makes our city so special. So pack your picnic blanket, grab your crew, and get ready to embark on a literary adventure you won't forget.

The Children's International Street Library is a sustainable, social, and absolutely free! But hurry, this fun way to spend your day is only in Darling Harbour until 7 Mary.
