Blackmores Sydney Running Festival

The Blackmores Sydney Marathon and Running Festival is one of the most spectacular running events and marathons in the world.

The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is the sole remaining participant legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. It started in 2001 when the NSW Government approved the continuation of a marathon in Sydney to promote fitness and health for the NSW community and to position Sydney as an international tourist destination. Twenty years on and the Blackmores Sydney Marathon and Running Festival is one of the most spectacular running events and marathons in the world.

The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival has four distances, suitable for any fitness level:

  • Marathon (42.2km)
  • Half Marathon (21.1km)
  • Bridge Run (10km)
  • Family Fun Run (3.5km)

This year there'll be more entertainment on the course than ever before with over 25 different locations showcasing some of Sydney's best community talents!

Running not your thing? From 7am, head to the Asics Uplift Zone at the Convention Centre Forecourt - a Spectator Live Site where you can cheer the runners coming past with only 5km left to go as well as follow the live coverage of the Marathon.
