Partner: Sydney Festival
Venue: Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour
Event Overview: Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park was once again a key venue for the 2020 Sydney Festival in January, with the star of the show being Dodecalis Luminarium – an immense, radiantly lit, inflated labyrinth of winding paths and soaring domes. The creation of designers Alan and Meko Parkinson, the experiential installation played on the geometry of a dodecahedron, with three jaw-dropping Dodecadomes joined by a web of tunnels, awash in intense, neon-bright natural light.
Partnership: Sydney Festival and PMNSW collaborated to bring a free and engaging artistic installation to the centrally located public space to attract visitors to the precinct and drive business to retailers.
