You need to try Cockle bay Wharf's perfect pairings

Just like Sydney and the summer months go hand in hand, our stunning harbourfront restaurants work tirelessly to bring you the perfect pairing for your Darling Harbour experience. From classic combinations to exciting new ones, Cockle Bay Wharf has your summer covered.

Adria Bar Restaurant
Inspired by the bold flavours of the Mediterranean, Adria Bar Restaurant is the perfect destination for those searching for a varied menu. Our favourite tabletop consists of the creamy Fettucine Carbonara paired with the Nepenthe Pinot Gris. This crisp white wine was born in the Adelaide Hills, with its stone fruit palate able to cut through the rich flavours of a traditional Carbonara.

I’m Angus Steakhouse
Cockle Bay Wharf’s famous beef specialists, I’m Angus Steakhouse is everything you expect from a world-class restaurant. The timeless steak and red wine combination is the go-to for many, and for good reason! We recommend the Grainge Tenderloin with the Penfolds Kalimna Shiraz. This cut of meat is the least used muscle on the animal, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth structure that is accentuated by the red.

Nick’s Seafood Restaurant
Nick’s Seafood sources local produce daily, bringing you Sydney’s freshest seafood straight from the ocean to your plate. This is ever-present in their freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters. Available by the dozen with a variety of finishes, we often find ourselves going back for more! Contrast their velvety texture with a glass or two of Moet & Chandon, the vibrant bubbles bring out the best in both components!

Café Del Mar Sydney
Where else would you rather spend a lazy summer weekend than on the Cockle Bay Wharf rooftop at Café Del Mar? Known across Sydney as the closest thing to Ibiza without breaking travel restrictions, this venue brings isle living to our sunny shores. Our favourite order is the antipasta platter, packed full of decadent meats, cheeses and other yummy nibblies. To really get on vibe, order a round of their signature chilli margaritas for the table.

Blackbird Cafe
Every Sydneysider can recall sharing moments and making memories at Blackbird Cafe, so our perfect pairing on the balcony continues just that! Their woodfired pizza range is designed to be spilt across the table, so why not get an assortment? The Tropical and Classic Prosciutto are two of our favourites and are best washed down with a glass of Pimms. Get yours in a refreshing jug, topped with fresh lemons, oranges, strawberries and cucumber.

Pontoon Bar
Pontoon Bar brings the very best of waterfront pub-style dining to Cockle Bay Wharf, with Aussie classics served up along the Promenade. In honour of this, our recommendation doesn’t reinvent the wheel. We’re suckers for a traditional chicken schnitzel and an ice-cold schooner of Jacko’s Australian Pale Ale. Chips and salad with a little bit of gravy completes the plate, but you can switch up the sides as you wish. Everyone has a preference after all!

Lindt Café
Last but certainly not least, Darling Harbour’s Lindt Café welcomes Sydney’s sweetest diners. We’re big believers in all or nothing, so our perfect pairing embraces the Swiss craftmanship in all its glory! Cool down by the fountain with a Lindt Chocolate Sundae and the new range of LINDOR Milkshakes. With four Double Bliss flavours to try before we say goodbye to summer, you might need to take a few laps up and down our iconic promenade.
