Darling Harbour now has a gigantic floating cinema
The team that came up with Mov'in bed and the Drive-in Cinema have been working on something top secret that will be the highlight of your summer.
Mov’in Boat, an over the top luxury floating cinema experience in Darling Harbour.
From December 2020 to February 2021, Darling Harbour will be home to a gigantic floating platform, featuring 40 row boats for hire, 75 lounge beds and two separate floating bars. On shore, there will be a 15-metre, 4k screen with 30 surround sound speakers showing cinema classics and brand new blockbusters.

You can experience Mov’in Boat however you’d like, whether you’re chilling on the promenade or reclining on your very own luxury day bed. Here are your options:
Pizza and delicious drinks
You won’t have to move - we’ll deliver delicious cheesy pizza straight to you. All pizzas are freshly cooked on the spot, with options including margarita, four cheeses, hawaiian and pepperoni.
There’s also fresh beer-battered fish and chips and daily caught prawn buckets from the fish markets. For a sweet treat, choose between fairy floss, sugar and Nutella Belgian waffles and sweet and/or savoury bottomless popcorn.
If you’re thirsty, the main bar will feature a selection of proseccos, premium wines, slushie cocktails and beers tailored by Brown Brothers Family Wineries to match the food offering.

First arrived best dressed – no allocation. Boat can be used prior to the movie for a paddle around.
First in, best dressed! There is no bed / boat allocation at Mov’In Boat. It is recommended that you arrive early if you want to choose the best spot. VIP ticket holders have an express access on the side.
Mov’In Boat is an outdoor event, therefore, it can get chilly once the sun goes down. It is suggested to bring appropriate clothes in case of chilly weather. In case of a shower, it is recommended to wear appropriate clothes to keep dry.
Attention : No alcohol will be allowed inside the area.
The event is not licensed for BYO so you won’t be allowed to bring alcohol or hot food into the premises. Snacks and soft drinks are allowed.

Mov’in Boat is an Outdoor Event and weather can be unpredictable. Mov'In Boat will try to go ahead with screenings wherever possible and do not cancel for light/intermittent/potential rain. It is strongly recommend you bring wet weather gear in case of rain.
In case of cancellation:
Screening will be cancelled if the weather poses a safety threats to patrons and staff. Screenings are cancelled based on the conditions on site.
If the event is cancelled, Mov'In Boat will send an email + an SMS by 4.00PM at the latest on the day of the screening.
Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is cancelled by Mov’In Boat.
You don’t need to print off your tickets for the event. You can simply display your tickets on your smartphone for check-in.
You can swap your ticket up to 7 days prior to the movie.
After 7 days, all bookings are final and Mov'In Boat do not refund or exchange tickets for a mistaken booking or change of mind. Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong session. Please check the session details carefully on each page of the booking process.
Refunds will not be given for a cancellation or termination due to adverse weather conditions, but replacement tickets are offered.
Yes. If you are unable to use your tickets, you are welcome to give them to a friend or a family member for them to attend the experience.
After making a booking, you will automatically receive your ticket by email. This email will usually come through within a few minutes but please allow up to 24hrs. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your Junk Mail folder.
If you are certain you have not received the confirmation email – the next step is to check your bank or Paypal account for signs of a successful transaction. If the transaction has been confirmed and money debited – this means that the booking has gone through but there was a problem with the email address you entered when you made the booking. Typographical errors are common, especially when booking on a mobile device, and this is the most likely reason for your ticket email not arriving.
