Chase Kojima is the executive hatted chef of hatted restaurant Sokyo at The Star Sydney, and has worked in restaurants all over the globe for the iconic Nobu Restaurant Group. Simulation Senpai first started as a pop up at the Tramsheds in Forest Lodge to provide work for his kitchen brigade throughout COVID-19. Its popularity and success alongside Chase's commitment to helping unemployed chefs is what led to Simulation Senpai's permanent home in Kengo Kuma's spiral landmark, the Exchange at Darling Square.
