Getting to Darling Harbour

Located on the edge of Sydney CBD, it's to get to Darling Harbour by bus, train, ferry, monorail, lightrail, car, taxi or bicycle.

Take the train to Town Hall Station, then take either the northern exit to Druitt Street or the southern exit into Bathurst Street and it's a short walk down hill to Darling Harbour.

When you enter Darling Harbour you'll be close to the IMAX Complex, Cockle Bay Wharf and Tumbalong Park.

Bus
For buses travelling through the CBD along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York Streets, get off the bus at Market, Park, Druitt or Bathurst Streets and head west to Darling Harbour.

If you take Park, Druitt or Bathurst Street when you enter Darling Harbour you'll be close to the IMAX Complex, Cockle Bay Wharf and Tumbalong Park.

If you take Market Street you'll enter Darling Harbour on the Cockle Bay Wharf side of Pyrmont Bridge, which you can walk across to reach Harbourside and Australian National Maritime Museum.

Catch a ferry to Darling Harbour and alight at Sydney Aquarium, or Pyrmont Wharf.

If you alight at Aquarium Wharf, you'll be close to Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World, Cockle Bay and King Street Wharf.

If you alight at Pyrmont Bay Wharf, you'll be close to Harbourside, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre and a short walk to Chinese Garden and Sydney Entertainment Centre.

The Lightrail travels between Central Station in the CBD and Lilyfield in the Inner West, stopping at a number of Darling Harbour stations.

Travelling within Darling Harbour
Moving from places of interest to parks and gardens or from your Darling Harbour accommodation to your choice of entertainment and leisure activities is easy. 

Clear signage and site maps are conveniently located throughout Darling Harbour with services that include ATMs, bureau de change, disabled access, parent rooms, police station, Pyrmont Bridge pedestrian way, toilets and telephones clearly indicated. 

People mover trains
This fun yet affordably priced mode of transport ($4.50 per adult and $3.50 per child) moves you from one end of Darling Harbour to the other via a regular service, operating from 10 am to 5 pm (6 pm in summer) daily.

People mover trains travel to all major attractions with a maximum of five trains operating at once. They're ideal for young and old alike. You can take a scenic tour or simply catch one to get from A to B.  In addition people mover trains can service any function, corporate event, dinner, or cruise within Darling Harbour by prior arrangement.
