Getting to Darling Harbour

Located on the edge of Sydney CBD, it's easy to get to Darling Harbour by bus, train, ferry, monorail, lightrail, car, taxi or bicycle.

Train
Take the train to Town Hall Station and exit south into Bathurst Street.  A short downhill walk on Bathurst Street will take you directly to the new Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and the Sydney Visitor Centre.  

When you enter Darling Harbour you'll be close to the IMAX Complex, Cockle Bay Wharf and Tumbalong Park.

Bus
For buses travelling through the CBD along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York streets, alight the bus at Market, Park, Druitt, Bathurst or Liverpool streets.

If you walk down Market Street you will enter Darling Harbour close to the Pyrmont Bridge, Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World and Cockle Bay Wharf.

Walk down Park and Druitt Streets and you will enter Darling Harbour close to Cockle Bay Wharf, the IMAX complex and the Sydney Visitor Centre.

The Bathurst Street entrance into Darling Harbour takes you to the new Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and the Sydney Visitor Centre.

The Liverpool Street entrance into Darling Harbour is adjacent to the new Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and the Chinese Garden.

Catch a ferry to Darling Harbour and alight at King Street Wharf, or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.

If you alight at King Street Wharf, you'll be close to Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World, Cockle Bay and King Street Wharf.

If you alight at Pyrmont Bay Wharf, you'll be close to National Maritime Museum, Harbourside and Sydney Convention Centre.

The monorail travels around the perimeter of Darling Harbour.

Alight at Darling Park Station for Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World, Cockle Bay Wharf and King Street Wharf.

Alight at Convention Centre Station for Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and Harbourside.

The Lightrail travels between Central Station in the CBD and Lilyfield in the Inner West, stopping at a number of Darling Harbour stations.

Alight at Convention or Exhibition Station for Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Travelling within Darling Harbour
Moving from places of interest to parks and gardens or from your Darling Harbour accommodation to your choice of entertainment and leisure activities is easy. 

Clear signage and site maps are conveniently located throughout Darling Harbour with services that include ATMs, bureau de change, disabled access, parent rooms, police station, Pyrmont Bridge pedestrian way, toilets and telephones clearly indicated. 

People mover trains
This fun yet affordably priced mode of transport ($4.50 per adult and $3.50 per child) moves you from one end of Darling Harbour to the other via a regular service, operating from 10 am to 5 pm (6 pm in summer) daily.

People mover trains travel to all major attractions with a maximum of five trains operating at once. They're ideal for young and old alike. You can take a scenic tour or simply catch one to get from A to B.  In addition people mover trains can service any function, corporate event, dinner, or cruise within Darling Harbour by prior arrangement.
